I went to visit one of my Youth Group joining camps this past weekend to see the new candidates that are joining. I was helping set up which meant setting up chairs. These were steel chairs (ones with cushion) so they were piled on each other. Well one was stuck so one of the camp servants came to help me out. Well, my dumbass said "here let me hold this one down while you pull that one up." As he motioned to pull up, in my mind I quickly thought "Shit! BAD IDEA get your finger out of there!" so my reflexes pulled my hand out but it was too late. My middle finger was squished between 2 metal parts of the chair. I wanted to scream, loud, but contained myself for the sake of everyone in the room. As a matter of fact, I was so calm about it, the guy who pulled the chair didn't even know I busted it. I just grabbed my hand, exhaled really big, ran outside and screamed to myself. A little later I look at my finger and it's all bruised and what not underneath the fingernail. :(
So I can't use my middle finger. The slightest touch hurts like hell. Do you know how hard it is to type without your middle finger? Try it, not as easy as you think. I can't even type, let alone draw. Meaning I won't have any new sketches for awhile until this finger heals up.
More worse than that, I can't flip anybody the bird. It just don't look gangsta if you do it with your left hand.
